The mind of a fish....

Hello to one and all. I am here at the Luncheonette today enjoying my nice hot bowl of Whole Oats which is to warm me up on this cold December day. I am here to bring to your attention a VERY interesting conversation I just had with the wife. The wife comments to me "Why are all of them (The fish) facing the one way towards the wall corner of the tank?" I said to her "Maybe we should put several pictures of fish in different stages of undress. Then MAYBE they'll have a REASON to look at the wall!"

OUR AQUARIUM

For anyone that is interested. We(The wife and I) have a 40 gallon freshwater tropical fish aquarium I have added to the Luncheonette within the last year. We have 22 fish in the aquarium at this time. We consider them to be our kids. We have been getting a lot of fish within the last three months due to the "Fish Of The Month" club at Jack's Aquarium and Pets. http://www.jackspets.com/ I highly recommend them for any and all of your fish needs, both freshwater and saltwater. They have not steered us wrong.

And we also have five other fish in the aquarium that have not been identified yet as of this post. So...as you can see... we have an exciting variety of fish in the aquarium. So why do they all look the same way at the same time? Who knows?

I just finished chatting with my Cousin Marsha on Yahoo IM. She cheered me up a bit. Still down about my situation and now I am in Wilkes Barre, PA. Nothing much else to state in this post for now still depressed.

On the road update.

As I am here in Syracuse I have to tell my story as of right now. I am feeling kinda down, the wife gave me VERY disturbing news from home. I severely took off a good chunk of my index finger's skin at work yesterday. And, it's to far to go home to confront the wife, or go to Connecticut to see my friends to console me on my issues. So, here I sit in the hotel room all depressed and nobody to talk too. So now that I have let me depression out I will end this for now. It looks like I might be outta Syracuse by the end of this week and into Albany. By then I am close enough to my friends. I hope it goes quickly. 'Till next time!

Damn Bengals (Part Deux) and other stuff.

I am briefly visiting the Luncheonette for a quick update.

Well, my BUNGLES are now 0-2 and have only scored 17 points in 2 games! Not good! With all the talent we have; especially on offense, we should be doing ALOT better!!! Oh well... maybe next week against the defending Super Bowl Champions the NY Giants. (Yeah, Right!)

I am now in Buffalo, and me and the team have done the job here. We will be moving on in the morning to Rochester. They say that should last a week , then it's off to Syracuse, Albany, then Newburg, then possibly Brooklyn and Providence, RI.

It was a nice (and thankfully brief!) visit to Buffalo where I lived for a year back in 1990. The apartment and the hole-in-the-wall motel are still there where dad and I stayed whilst here. That area did not seem to have changed much in the last 18 years. The more things change, the more they stay the same I guess. This will be a brief post, as there is not much more to say for now. I'll keep y'all posted when new news develops. 'till then.

Damn Bengals, and Good News!

Well... My Bengals lost to the Ravens to start their season. Damn them! They have all that talent and don't know what to do with it!!!!

I have been informed as of today to plan to go to Buffalo and the other New York locations for my job. I am so happy!

He also told me that they're are also locations in Rhode Island and New Jersey to do as well. I am willing, if they are!!!

I even get to go back to where I grew up, Connecticut! I'll get to see my other best friend John. I hope he sees this post. If not, I'll surprise him. So with that said I will end this for now.

The season begins NOW!

Good morning to all and one. It's that time of the year once again. It's football time! The boys in stripes start their 2008 season today! WHO DEY! WHO DEY! WHO DEY think gonna beat Ocho Cinco and our Bengals! 8-)

I am hoping I will be able to watch the game up here in Cleveland. I do not see why not, seeing as Clevelands game starts @ 4 p.m. and the Bengals game starts @ 1 p.m. I am looking forward to my two cold beers I will win from the game after the Bengals beat the Ravens! My co-worker Howard states that my Bengals will lose to the rebuilding Ravens. YEAH RIGHT!

O.K. everyone..... time to comment on my blogs. I want communication here people!!!! 8-) So... start commenting!!!!

From a Great Labor Day weekend last year, to this years Labor Day weekend.

Well, It was DEFINITELY not as fun as last years!!! I was stuck in Cleveland with my new employer! I hope this one will last longer. Our next destination after Cleveland, is Buffalo, NY. It is completely up to them now to keep me, seeing as I am willing to go to Buffalo to work there and on to the next destination in New York, etc, etc. The reason I am willing to do this is because I am earning TWICE as much per hour than I was at my last employer, and they also take care of my lodging expenses where we work. So... I think this is a good deal! All I have to pay for is my food and gas. With that being said this is what I do: I am now working as a CPAC (Corrosion Prevention and Control) Tech where I treat Hummers,

trailers, and various other outside items for the USMC. I have also treated these items in Cincinnati, Dayton, and Toledo.

The reason for the new job was I was let go from my previous employer after I attempted to better myself there. That being: 1) I asked for a raise and they informed me I cannot have one until the first of the new year and this was in June, (Which was my year anniversary there.) 2) Tried to work overtime, they also stated no on that as well. Finally 3) I tried applying for a promotion to a new position and of course was declined on that as well and was let go. During this time I was searching for a new job seeing as this job was not willing to work with me. I applied to over 250 (Average of 50 per month since April '08) jobs either In person, on-line, by phone, by fax, or by e-mail with no results, until my favorite staffing service came through for me once again!

Ironically, they also got me that last job. But, when that job hired me onto their payroll from Manpower, they chose to pay me at the same rate that Manpower was paying me!

I want to also say thank you to my mother and my father for the birthday gifts and cards. I have not seen them yet seeing as I have been up here in Cleveland since August 28. Lori has been calling me here at the hotel with the assistance of my friend Jeff to keep me updated on what is happening at home. Thanks to you both as well.

I plan on being home the weekend of September 13th hoping by then that they have chosen to keep me so I can get some clothes and misc. stuff and head up to Buffalo. Isn't that Ironic as well...I left Buffalo over 17 years ago and I might be going back!!! ACK!!!! Well... at least it wont be for too long!!! Man that year there was a nightmare!!!!

O.k. a new year and a new season for DX Wolverines FF again!!! I hope I do better this year than last. I am only fielding 2 teams this year at yahoo. I fielded 5 teams last year and only ended up with two good teams on yahoo. So you can see why I only chose two teams and on yahoo.

Speaking of fantasy leagues. I attempted for the second time to field a NASCAR fantasy team. Team Nadeau Racing is suffering the sophomoric jinx this year fielding only one team. We are in last place in the league as of this post and it does not look like we are going to move up in the standings by the end of the chase. So, hopefully next year we will do better.

And as you can see, I will try again for a third time to get my Cincinnati Mighty Ducks team(s) to the championship game(s) this year. That will probably be happening within the next month seeing as the season starts in October.

It has been awhile......

Been very busy since last post. I am still at SSCC, long story. I am involved with another theatre department mini production once again. We will be putting on a one act on March 19, at 7:30 at central campus. We have scheduled four one acts for the evening. I will be in two of them, featured in one and starring in another.



Hopefully I will see some of you there. I have decided to try something new. Scroll to the bottom of the post to see what it is. I will also have a comment page on it as well to keep it or trash it. I hope y'all like it I just thought of it.
